What
is the difference between the two plans?
In choosing between the Careington 500 Series and the POS/CI
Series plan, it really depends on which plan is accepted by the
dentist you choose . Some dentists accept both plans.
Each plan uses it's own Careington fee schedule and they are
both very similar.
How do I know which plan a provider
accepts? When you Search
for providers in your area, the provider listing will include a
network code of 500 or POS. If the listing shows
"500" then the dentist accepts the 500 series
plan. If the listing shows "POS) then the dentist accepts the POS/CI Series
plan. Many providers accept both plans.
The prices shown are for procedures performed by a general dentist. Some
states may use multiple schedules. The schedules listed for each state
is the most common schedule for that state.

This plan is not a Qualified Health Plan under the Affordable Care Act. This is not a Medicare prescription drug plan. The range of discounts will vary depending on the type of provider and service. The plan does not pay providers directly. Plan members must pay for all services but will receive a discount from participating providers. The list of participating providers is on this website. A written list of participating providers is available upon request. You may cancel within the first 30 days after receipt of membership materials and receive a full refund, less a nominal processing fee (nominal fee for MD residents is $5, AR and TN residents will be refunded processing fee).
